Hammer has given us great calves, He has a great temperament and is easy to handle. Great grandson of BR Voodoo Magic, sire Big Ridge Fierdy, dam Almosta Farm's Brinley

Epic Lad is Canadian by birth, but reading through his lineage is simply reading a "who's who" of the best Highland breeders in the British Commonwealth. In Canada alone, Epic's genetics have produced Champions, Grand Champions, and Overall Supreme Champions in the Royal Agricultural shows in Ontario and the Royal in Toronto. Following the lineage a little further, one finds Champions in Scotland and Australia, as well. Notable names in Epic's lines include (but are not limited to) Douneside, Benmore, Sunset, Windrush, Glencoich, Scone Palace, Ormsary, and Glen Osprey-- all of which are valuable to breeding programs in the United States for the heritage traits they inject into American genetic brands.
Stateside, Epic has proven himself worthy of his genetics as a primary breeding bull. He has easily maintained phenomenal muscularity, handles bitter cold and Tennessee heat with equal ease, and never needs a second heat-cycle to smoothly execute his job. Birth weights for Epic calves tend to be between 60-65lbs, with all of his calves inheriting beautiful balance in power and conformation with his signature stout frame, as well as straight backs, great feet and hair, excellent feed efficiency, good-natured temperaments, and solid breeding histories, leading to a backlogged waiting list each calving season.
Of his first calves for Noble Bear Highlands, 72% were heifers, several of which have been retained. This group has also gone on to have successful 2025 show appearances, regularly finishing at the top of their classes, appearing in Grand Drives, and winning Get of Sire as a group sired by this beloved beast. Talk about quality!

Atlas is a chunk of a young bull whose size belies the fact that he’s only just turned two years old. One has to appreciate his length of body, correct legs and hip design, as well as breed character, as evident by his full dosan and powerful horn structure. In pasture, Atlas is easy to spot due to the smoothness and style of his movements, which are hallmarks of Scottish tradition in Highlands and proper breeding. In addition to his great appearance, we regularly receive comments on his gentle, loving, and often perceptibly kind behavior— he’s the epitome of grass puppy! Atlas not only mimics his outstanding sire in both looks and personality, but also passes those desirable traits along consistently. Atlas’s sire, Triple R Ban Duncan, is the culmination of some of the finest Northwest, Canadian, and Scottish import bloodlines. As an AI sire, Atlas is genetically backed by 10 notable AI sires whose outstanding offspring speak for the quality in their breeding. In pasture, Atlas has produced nearly 70% heifers, and all of his calves have been bright, vigorous, and strong at about 60lb birth weights. This young papa is on the rise, and the outlook is as bright as his coat!

For the first time ever and through a partnership between Ardbhan Highland Cattle in North Uist, Scotland, and Quarter Section Run Highlands in Iowa, we are bringing you the opportunity to be one of the first to have Scottish genetics from Ardbhan Fold in your herd. Creag Glas (meaning Grey Rock) is the handsome son of Ardbhan’s homebred white stock bull, Gille Ban Rona and black dam Fraochan of Ardbhan, one of Ardbhan’s famous Fraochs line. Skye High Gibraltar:
5 conventional straws stored at Multigen in Stanford Kentucky

Gibraltar is a sire who has earned a reputation as a “breed improver”. Few American born Highland bulls have been able to rival Gibraltar for the degree of consistent quality he imparts to his offspring. He possesses a unique set of traits that set him well above breed averages in multiple categories.Because this sire’s genetics are stacked with layers of quality that go many generations deep, Highland breeders who have used him are typically impressed by the substantial difference he makes in their breeding programs. If your cattle could use a shot of extra thickness and exceptional skeletal structure with solid feet, balanced body proportions and gentle dispositions, your top choice for an AI sire should be Gibraltar.

The first generation of his heifers will be coming into production this year and these are already showing strong maternal characteristics and a striking likeness to their famous grand dam Skye High Yellow Bird. Gibraltar’s progeny also include the reserve national champion bull Skye High Kodiak Pinch and multiple other offspring who have been grand champions, division winners or highest selling cattle at sales and shows all across the country.

Gibraltar has consistently given us calm cattle who are capable of winning in the show ring, even with our young daughter showing. He’s a gem of a sire.

One of the most influential Highland bulls in the world, Gusgurlach of Windrush appears in many pedigrees across North America and for good reason. This Canadian import produced numerous National Western Stock Show champions and is known for greatly improving foot structure in his offspring. Gus was a bull of exceptional correctness and substance, consistently siring cattle with width, volume, and true Scottish character.
His sire Iain Mor of Glenquoich was a direct Scottish import whose rugged and functional genetics helped shape the breed in his era. Glenquoich cattle were built to thrive in the rocky terrain of Scotland, passing on durability and longevity that still stand out in modern herds. Gus’s dam added more UK imported influence with a touch of the legendary GOF lineage, creating a remarkable combination of proven bloodlines from around the world in one powerful and balanced package.
Gus offspring are moderately framed, well muscled, and known for their longevity and classic Highland type. He is celebrated for improving Highland character, feet, and overall volume like no other bull before him.
