2026 Show Rules
-All participants must read and comply with the AHCA Show General Rules & Regulations.
-Official ID and a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) dated within 30 days of the show are required for health compliance only.
-Refer to General Rules and Livestock Rules for additional requirements.
Cattle must be entered by Division.
-All cattle must be shown and stalled on halter.
-All bulls 12 months or older must be shown with nose leads.
-All animals must be registered and in good standing with AHCA.
Barn arrival begins Wednesday at 2:00 PM.
All cattle must be on-site by Thursday at 8:00 PM.
Junior Show Rules
-Participants must be junior members of AHCA, age 8 and older.
-Children under 8 may participate without membership.
(AHCA Junior Membership is free).
-The animal must be a heifer or steer born after January 1, 2024, and registered with AHCA in the name of the junior, parent, grandparent, or legal guardian (except for showmanship).
-All animals shown in the Junior Show must also be entered in the Open Show.
-Showmanship classes are limited to bulls under one year, steers, and heifers.
-For Junior Showmanship only, AHCA membership is not required, and the animal does not need to be owned by the showman.
