His offspring have included several national champions over the past 30 years and due to his exceptional influence the last remaining straws sell for thousands of dollars each.

Annie’s dam is from well known Sunset breeding that includes some of the most influential Canadian and Scottish bloodlines. Breed character, efficiency on pasture, and excellent structure have been bred into these cattle for many generations. She always had another bovine, whether a steer, a weaned heifer or a cow/calf pair, as a companion until she was weaned and could go into the main weanling herd. She is easy to work around, although sometimes a little difficult to push out of the way if grain is involved. She is used to dogs, small children, cats, and is halter broke. Brucellosis vaccinated and eligible for entry into any western state requiring imports be OCVs. The right color and the right pedigree: get her while you can.

Hawfields Cattle Company proudly presents No Taxation, likely our last offering from sire CBS Matrix. Born on the 4th of July, this beautiful red heifer has a lot to offer! Highland expert Jacob Larson remarked that “CBS Matrix stands out as a sire who’s female progeny can be counted on for a high degree of femininity and fertility paired with a moderate frame and excellent capacity that enables body condition maintenance and milk/calf production efficiency. CGH Sunsong Lullaby, affectionately called “Lolly,” is a growthy, flashy, and affectionate heifer that combines presence, style, and balance both on the move and at rest. She’s the kind of heifer who can elevate a breeding program or bring success in the show ring. Lolly is nicely built with a strong maternal line that carries the traits breeders look for in a productive brood cow.
Handled daily by Junior exhibitors, she is halter broke, gentle, and stands calmly for grooming and showing. Bred from the long-established Creachann Gleann program, her pedigree features respected lines including Cobblestone, U Rock, and Forty Acres.
Lolly is current on all vaccinations and worming and comes from a Brucellosis-free herd, ensuring she’s healthy, sound, and ready to contribute to any Highland fold.
